Ingredients:

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Cook the Spaghetti:
    • Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce:
    • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

    • Repeat layers with the remaining spaghetti, cream cheese mixture, and meat sauce.

    • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
  7. Bake:
    • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
    • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve:
